Years of practice and training paid off on Sept. 23rd 2017. After a number of grueling tests that shook my palate to its very core I can officially confirm that I have passed my Q Exams. When I look back on how far I have come I can't help but remember the days as a kid walking into the cupping lab at what was then Nestle, watching various people slurping this strange brown liquid. Being immersed in green coffee since the age of 5 I've always had more knowledge and exposure to the raw product than the roasted coffee many people are exposed to every day. It was a strong foundation with green coffee that sparked my passion of coffee as a whole and now the other piece of the puzzle has finally been put into place. I am confident that this credential will show everyone in the industry, customers and peers alike, that HRSI is serious when it comes to coffee.
